Another pissed customer

They sent me a used iphone that was LOCKED from the previous company owned admin. I tried for months trying to resolve this, they were very slow in responding to my emails (over 50 emails back and forth) after a year they sent me back a refund for less than half of what i paid for it. They claimed its not worth what I paid for it a year ago and depreciated in price because I used it. Hello....I never got a chance to use it because it was locked. I will never do business with them again. Watch out for Mytecell...they are bad news.

Great to bad to horrible

I have bought a few phones from them. The first experience was great. They no longer had the phone I ordered, and instead of contacting me they just sent me an upgraded unit with a note thanking me for the business. The second experience was good, but when I had an issue with the phone and had it fixed myself they would not help me with anything. The third two days ago has been the worst experience yet! I went through the options, chose my phone and paid for it. They took my money. Then I get an email saying they no longer have that phone in stock. They then asked if I wanted a lesser phone, and they would refund me 30.00. I looked again on their site and chose the phone they were offering me and the difference in charges was not 30.00, it was 50.00! No upgrade, and try to scheist me out of the extra 20.00! When I contact them and express my dissatisfaction they offer me the same downgrade and instead of 30.00 refund, a 60.00 refund or if I wanted to upgrade it would be 100.00 more. I would not suggest wasting, time money or effort with this company any longer. It used to be an upstanding company. Maybe they should get back to their roots.

MyteCell is a great company to buy phones from. I keep purchasing from them because their phones are exactly as described and fully tested. I have had no issues activating them either. There were times I received a better condition phone than what I was expecting. I really like that they are willing to upgrade to a better condition phone or to a bigger gigabyte size if they are out of stock of a certain device. Return process is excellent and they send a replacement right away. Packages are always delivered on time. Jake is very reliable, ready to help and always reachable. I am extremely satisfied with this company. I recommend MyteCell to all.

Mytecell is a great company to buy phones from. I have been doing business with this company for years and they have exceeded my expectations. Regarding purchasing and delivering their items, I have never had an issue with them. I have purchased over a hundred phones from them over the past few years and they have always delivered my purchases in a timely matter. Jake Mytelka is the CEO of the company and he is very professional and takes care of everything very efficiantly. He always gets back to me in a timely matter. I have been purchasing phones for my company from Mytecell for about a year now. I use them personally as well. I only have good things to say about this company. Not every order has gone perfectly as planned however I have been in contact with Jake who is amazing and he has always helped to resolve any issue quickly and to our complete satisfaction! If thats not great service then I don't know what is. I have recommended them to many colleagues and will continue to do so. I look forward to continuing to order from them because I know I'm in good hands and they have incredible customer service. Thanks Jake!

Wrong phone sent over a week to receive

I ordered a $350 phone from this company and it was sold in mint condition with being 64 gig. They sent me a 32 gig phone guessing no one would notice. When I contacted them they did not even offer anb excuse and I had to pay to return the phone and dispute the charge with my credit card company. I would NEVER do business with this company again. I think they send the phones out from 3rd party sources. It had shipped from Illinois and they only have locations in New York and Texas???? I was working with a gentleman by the name of Jake... and THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. I have a company and we order a lot of cell phones so they will be losing several customers at the same time.

Mytecell - Phones Lacking Quality
Utilized Swappa.com to buy from a "trusted" corporate seller with dozens of phones in inventory. Purchased a phone listed as "very good" and received a phone in fair condition with scratches on the screen that could be felt with your finger and paint missing all the way around the perimeter. Seller said it was "on the low end of good" but was easy to work with to return the phone at my expense but costs $7 to return phone with insurance. Seller sent another phone promised to be in better condition and it was, but the screen was dead, all other functions worked except for the screen. This cost another $7 to send back. 3rd phone was sent and this one worked, but the perimeter of the phone was in worse shape with paint missing on all side and several dents in the plastic. Again this phone was in fair condition according to swappa but sold as very good. Another $7 to return this phone too and sell refuses to refund my shipping expenses even though they are at fault for selling phone of fair quality as though they are very good. AVOID.

This company made a large purchase of over $8,000 from our company. They operate out of an apartment. They immediately proceeded to open a Chargeback and kept our product as well. We are planning on filing a lawsuit if they do not return our goods. Company Info: Jake Mytelka MYTECELL LLC 5090 Richmond Ave #721 Houston, TX 77056 These guys are nobody's in this industry. Keep your money, do not risk being scammed. Their phones are rotten garbage that will fall apart as soon as you turn them on. BUYER BEWARE

Just to respond, this company Duckfish electronics (please search there name on this website to see there pages of reviews) sold us mint Note 4 ATT Unlocked , we received a case of broken Verizon Note 4. They refused to provide prepaid shipping to take them back so we disputed the charge with Paypal, once they sent us the prepaid labels we returned the phones right away. In our ten years in the industry this is the only company that is actually run by a bunch of thief's as you can easily see by googling there name.
